The Magic is returning for a 5th consecutive year! Join us for a fun filled night of music and entertainment the whole family will enjoy as the magic of a B.E. Taylor Christmas Concert presented by S&T Bank returns to the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex in a benefit for Renda Broadcasting’s 37th annual Teddy Bear Fund Drive on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 7:30 p.m, with a pre-concert event featuring students from around the county to begin at 6:45 PM.

The B.E. Taylor Christmas Concert is a holiday musical tradition that the entire family will cherish and it has attracted over 11,000 fans in its first four years at the KCAC. It plays throughout the tri-state region to over 40,000 fans in the month of December. Music from B.E.’s two Christmas CD’s can be heard coast to coast on Adult Contemporary radio during the Christmas Season. His Christmas Concert was filmed and picked up by American Public Television and is aired on 200 PBS stations nationally throughout the holiday season. This year, feel the love of Christmas with the B.E. Taylor Christmas Concert. It’s where memories are created, rediscovered and renewed.

B.E. Taylor has become as synonymous with Christmas as chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Every year, hundreds of new families discover the reason that thousands of their neighbors return year after year. Passion and compassion are the qualities that endear B.E. Taylor to the region and his fans. “Last year’s show was unbelievable and we are so excited to be coming back for a 5th year,” B.E. Taylor said. “We had an incredible response when we came to Indiana the first time in 2012, and it seems every year it gets better. The sound in the KCAC is unreal, the glow sticks, and the energy from the crowd the first four years is something we certainly hope to replicate again this year. We’ll have some wrinkles and surprises that we think fans will like. And the fact that this concert benefits kids at Indiana Regional and Children’s Hospital makes it a grand slam. I can tell you that I, along with my entire band and crew can’t wait to return to Indiana. It’s quickly become one of our favorite stops on the entire tour.”

This concert will benefit the Renda Broadcasting Teddy Bear Fund Drive. In its 37th year, the Renda Broadcasting Teddy Bear Fund Drive has generated over 2.5 million dollars for the Indiana Regional Medical Center Pediatric Unit and the Free Care Fund at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. With a boost from the concert, last year’s fund drive set an all-time record raising 131,000.00. “It was really an easy decision to bring this show back for a 5th year,” Mark Bertig, Vice President & General Manager of Renda Broadcasting said. “First of all, the quality of the show is truly outstanding. The survey forms from last year were glowing with praise with comments like ‘please bring B.E. back’, so we are happy to do just that, and it’s all for a great cause. One thing we have learned is that the fans prefer the show on a Saturday so we are honored that B.E. Taylor Productions worked the tour so the stop in Indiana is on a Saturday again. We can’t wait, and all I can say is if you have never experienced this concert, it is a tremendous family concert that will having you wanting to come back time and time again.”

“We are also pleased to announce that many of our area high schools will form an all-star chorus once again for a pre-concert show that will begin at 6:45 PM,” Bertig added. “Kids helping Kids has always been a big part of the Teddy Bear Fund Drive, and B.E. Taylor has been so gracious in including students in the show in a variety of ways, and the students have loved watching the concert after they are finished performing.”
