INDIANA, PA (September 11, 2014)- The Global Spectrum staff of the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex (KCAC) recently spent the afternoon lending a helping hand to the Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP) Food Bank.

All full time staff members of the Global Spectrum office that manages the KCAC volunteered their time to sort fresh produce for the local pantry. Global Spectrum takes pride in its support of multiple non-profit organizations, encouraging staff to partake in donating their time to help local charities.

Seth Benalt, Global Spectrum's General Manager for the KCAC stated, "One of the missions of Global Spectrum managed facilities is to ensure that we have a positive impact within the communities in which we operate beyond the great events and functions that we host."

The ICCAP food bank’s main purpose is to feed low income families in the local community with non-perishable groceries. They also strive to help these families and individuals to improve their daily nutrition.

Benalt added, "It is important to us that the great community of Indiana knows how much we appreciate their unwavering support of the KCAC over the years and giving back with our time to a great organization like ICCAP is one way of doing that."
