With more than 8 million albums sold, Newsboys have continued to recreate themselves time and time again. Newsboys has amassed eight Gold® certifications, 33 #1 radio hits, four GRAMMY® nominations, two American Music Award nominations and taken home multiple Dove Awards. In addition, their chart-topping, Platinum®-certified single, “God’s Not Dead,” inspired Pure Flix’s 2014 hit film of the same name. While the recognition for all their hard work is nice, the band isn’t in it for the accolades. Instead, lead vocalist Michael Tait, guitarist Jody Davis, keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein and drummer Duncan Phillips do what they do out of love: love for God, love for their fans and love for the simple act of making music. Love is an emotion they believe we need more of in this increasingly dark world. They’re so passionate about the idea that they titled their new album Love Riot.
Throughout her decade+ career as both a songwriter and recording artist, PLUMB has established a highly respected voice in a myriad of genres, selling over half a million albums and 3 million singles worldwide. Beginning with her own chart-topping singles (“Stranded,” “God-Shaped Hole”), PLUMB has continually defied genre definition, becoming “known for a wide-ranging musical palette, which has led to success on multiple Billboard charts” (BILLBOARD, July 2013). The breadth of PLUMB’s creative relevance is driven by both her otherworldly voice, making her a perfect fit on numerous soundtracks and TV placements (most recently with Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars), as well as a pure songwriter, including cuts by Mandy Moore, Michelle Branch, Natalie Grant. PLUMB has also garnered wide acceptance in the dance/remix community, collaborated with EDM heavyweights Paul Van Dyk and BT, and seen six Top 5’s and three #1 Billboard Hot Dance singles in the past 5 years. Plumb’s latest album, NEED YOU NOW, is proving to be her strongest yet, crossing 150k albums and including close to 500k singles on the back of DOVE nominated break out singles “Need You Now” spending multiple weeks at #1 on various charts and follow-up “Don’t Deserve You” seeing international success with collaborator Paul Van Dyk. As PLUMB begins work on a worship album in Fall 2014, her latest single “Lord, I’m Ready Now” reflects her return journey to Christian music as her principle ministry and purpose.
